It's a War!!!

Saturday Dec. 15th was a cold, wet, grey day......
.....outside..........................................................
It was a different story INSIDE Paceline.
Dr. Rob Paynter had to break out the industrial fan
because of the heat being generated in the
Paceline Indoor Time Trial.
It was back to back racers all day, and in
that bunch, a new bar was set. John Anderson
beat the previous mark by 3 seconds with a screaming
time of 15:19. There was a crowd watching and cheering!!!
It felt like July in the middle December!!!

Van Throws Down the Gauntlet

That's right folks... VB laid it down today to become
the first leader of the Computrainer Indoor Time Trial
Series. He lit up the course with a blistering 19min32sec
time. There was a lot of heavy breathing and sweat.
we called the Fire dept twice but they were false alarms....
(I'm pretty sure it's ok for your heart rate to max out at 246bpm)... Van leads the overall and the 61-70 age group.
The second fastest time was set in the 21-30 age at 22:34.
Youth did not conquer on this day!!!

2nd Annual Pilot Ride Was Fantastic!!!

The cold weather gear was out in full force Sat. Morning for the 2nd annual
Paceline to Pilot Fall ride. While the morning was chilly, the promise of clear skies, warm sun, and cooked meat brought out the cyclist in droves.
Though the balaclavas made it hard to distinguish who was who at the start,
there was no question when all the riders returned.....The clothes came off!!!
The sun warmed everything up, and made for a perfect day of cycling.
Thanks so much to all the riders who came out Sat. and made this one of our best rides ever.

Thanks also to everyone who came out to the Paceline rides all year. It is truly great to see everyone each week and get to know you all.

Thanks sooooo much to Jim Martin, Doug Pierce, John Anderson, Lisa Martin and Kevin Westwood for helping out so tremendously. Couldn't have done it without you guys!!!!

Thanks again to everyone!!!

Stay tuned for pictures of the 3rd annual Paceline Beard Off!!!
Ullrich partaking in some of the fine post-ride cuisine
